Happy 6 Month Birthday Jubilee!

On Tuesday, Jubilee turned 6 months! We were able to celebrate in several ways.

1. Monday we had a beautiful snow, so we decided to go out in the courtyard of our apartment and build a snowman even though it as past Jubilee’s bedtime. We want to enjoy those fun times, make family memories, not be rigid about rules.

2. Tuesday after Ryan got home from work, we let Jubilee try rice cereal. It was very thin, so we couldn’t put a candle in it, but we held it next to the bowl and sang “Happy Birthday!” She did ok. She wasn’t too interested and eventually digressed to just banging the rattle on the high chair.

3. Today, which is Thanksgiving, however we tried it again, this time a little thicker. She seemed like she actually liked it. :-)
